Difficult Questions Workshop
2-Hour Interactive Group Session
This focused workshop is built around the questions that students found most challenging during the mock examination, alongside the highest-level questions included within the papers.Using performance data from across the cohort, our tutors identify common areas of difficulty and provide detailed explanations, proven techniques and effective problem-solving strategies.
Students will:
• Review questions most frequently answered incorrectly
• Learn how to approach difficult and unfamiliar question types
• Understand common mistakes and how to avoid them
• Develop stronger reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Improve examination technique and confidence
• Gain exposure to higher-level questions commonly found in competitive entrance examinations
This session is particularly valuable for students aiming to maximise their scores and improve performance in highly competitive grammar school and independent school entrance examinations.
Detailed Paper Review Programme
Two 2-Hour Intensive Review Sessions
Our Detailed Paper Review Programme provides students with a comprehensive walkthrough of the mock examination papers, helping them fully understand their performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Unlike the Most Difficult Questions Workshop, which focuses on the most challenging questions, this programme reviews a broad selection of questions from across the examination papers.
Students will:
• Review questions from all examination papers
• Understand the methods and approaches required to gain marks
• Analyse common misconceptions and mistakes
• Learn examiner expectations and assessment criteria
• Improve examination technique and time management
• Strengthen confidence across all subject areas
• Develop practical strategies for future examinations
Throughout the programme, students receive detailed explanations, worked solutions and expert guidance from experienced tutors.The aim is not simply to correct mistakes, but to develop a deeper understanding of the skills, techniques and thought processes required for long-term success.This programme is ideal for students seeking a detailed review of their performance and a clear plan for future improvement.
