Perfect Score Tutor (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides private tuition in person and online. We are home-based in Barkingside, Ilford (IG6), London. For family privacy, we don’t publish a full street address; the exact address is shared with confirmed bookings.

2) Personal data we collect

  • Contact details: parent/guardian and/or student name, email.

  • Student/lesson info: year group, subjects, goals, school, availability, lesson notes/progress, homework.

  • Booking & payment info: invoice details, payer name, transaction amounts/dates. (Card details are handled by our payment provider; we don’t store full card numbers.)

  • Communications: emails and messages (e.g., WhatsApp/SMS) and call notes if applicable.

  • Website usage data: pages viewed, device/browser info, IP address.

  • Safeguarding information where a concern is raised or required.

We don’t intentionally collect special-category data (e.g., health) unless you choose to share it (e.g., exam access arrangements). If shared, we use it only where necessary and with extra care.

  • Provide tuition & manage bookings.

  • Communicate about enquiries, confirmations, reminders, and updates.

  • Payments & accounting (invoicing, receipts, tax records).

  • Improve our services & website (analytics, troubleshooting).

5) Children’s privacy

We work with minors. We collect student information from parents/guardians or with their knowledge. We normally communicate with parents/guardians unless agreed otherwise. If you’re under 13, please don’t submit forms without a parent/guardian.

6) Sharing your data (third parties)

We share only what’s necessary with trusted providers:

  • Website host/form tools: Wix.com (hosting and form processing).

  • Email/messaging: Gmail/Outlook; WhatsApp/SMS if used.

  • Payments: [Stripe/PayPal/other] (we don’t store full card details).

  • Analytics (optional): [Google Analytics / none].

  • Professional advisers/authorities: accountants, HMRC, safeguarding bodies if required.

7) International transfers

Some providers (e.g., Wix, Google) may process data outside the UK/EEA. We rely on approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

8) How long we keep data

  • Enquiries (no booking): up to 12 months after last contact.

  • Student records & lesson notes: while active, then 3 years after the last lesson.

  • Invoices & payment records: 6 years (UK tax law).

  • Safeguarding records: as required by law/guidance.
    We delete or anonymise data when it’s no longer needed.

Our site uses cookies:
